The best part? This ‘hood used to be gang territory…and here’s what I noticed the other day riding home from the gym…and then I spotted THIS…heh.

I miss the west…
hahaha…the mysterious phenomenon of the ‘pdx roof climbing goat’…
my thoughts are that it is either a guard goat, keeping an eye out for the owner whilst the others chomp away at furniture, beds, underwear, tin cans and other weird things goats eat…OR maybe it is searching for further snack treats…beyond his/her usual chomping grounds….’hey guys, check it out! i can see a big pile of old washing machines…lets get em!’
or…? “because he can”
Love it! We have a miniature horse that resides about a mile from our place and is on our rout to and from the natural food store. We love seeing it out being taken for walks.
haha – that’s funny, as I remember when I first moved back to PDX I was coming out of my vet’s office on Lombard here in NoPo and saw a mini horse across the street. I thought I’d eaten something funny
Haven’t seen one of those since I was a kid visiting Kentucky Horse Park!
Oh… it gets even funnier! I post this comment this afternoon and you won’t believe what I just got home from doing: rounding up said mini horse and getting it back into it’s yard from whence it escaped! We were driving home from the grocery store only to see the horse out under a street light next to the street, munching away, no one around. I walked down to where I knew he lived and knocked on their door but no one was home. Thankfully his harness and lead were sitting by the gate so off I went with those and got it on him and brought him, reluctantly slowly back to his yard. We then tied his gate shut with said harness so he couldn’t repeat the trick, much to his annoyance from the look he gave us… but I know horses and no way i wouldn’t think of that! It looks like the extra pin that keeps him from opening his gate was broken or missing…. and he was so proud of himself! Little pill. Still, so funny to think I had my own little city round up!
awesome!
