On the Eve

Today I have promised my girl that on this Eve, I would give her the best day ever.  This week I took these photos of her in the grass, doing her best to give me a smile even though her body and all of its functions have begun to give out on her.  How I’ll get through these upcoming days is beyond my comprehension.
